Course Editor 3/4 - Publish sections and lectures - All statuses explained
Updated over 2 years ago

In this video we explore the different states of chapter and lectures. We also have a look on how to make content mandatory.

This video contains:

  • How to center the headline of a section

  • How to make a section mandatory

  • The different types of status

To make a chapter visible for your members you can change the state to published. You also need to change the state of the lecture. The admin preview allows you to see how your content is going to look for your members without them to see you working on your courses.

With the toggle up here, (Screenshot above) you can preview your content like a member or like an admin user. You will still be able to see lectures, even if previous lectures are required to be completed before.

You can only see the lesson in the overview (thumbnail, lesson name and short description). If you don't change the status, it will never be available. The status is meant for the admin to be able to work on his course and for the course structure not to look so empty although he has not created the video/contents of the lesson yet.
