1. What is a Custom Property of type “Text”?
A Custom Property of type Text is a flexible free-text field that allows you to store member-specific data.
It is ideal for any information that is not covered by standard fields.
New:
Text properties now also accept email addresses as valid values.
This allows you to use them for additional contact fields or integrations.
Examples:
Alternative email addresses
CRM-specific identifiers
Internal notes or labels
2. How to create a Text Property (Member Attribute)?
Follow these steps to create a new text property:
-Go to Settings
-Navigate to Member Attribute
-Click on Create Attribute
-Select the type Text
-Enter a name (e.g. “Alternative Email”)
(Optional) Add a description
-Click Save
The property will then be available for all members.
